Let Your Light Shine …

Let Your Light Shine

When bad things happen to us, to people we know and love, or to people we hear about in the news or on the web … the first question we tend to ask ourselves and the Divine is ‘why would that happen?’ and  ‘how could that happen to such a good person?’

What we need to understand is that there is a reason for everything. There is always an answer for ‘why’ … we just have to be awake enough to see it and understand it.

I would like to share a true story with you. One that clearly shows if we look hard enough we will find the answers we are looking for.

There was a mechanic who recently, due to an extremely, unusual accident at work, had his arm severed beyond repair.

Now, this was a very nice, honest and hard-working man to be around. On most days, he was a man of few words but he always took the time to say ‘Hello’ with a smile. He didn’t have a lot of visions for the future, as he lived day-to-day and week-to-week. He did what most Americans do … what he thought were his duties in life … wake up, go to work, come home, eat dinner, watch the news, go to bed and get up and do it all over in the morning. He didn’t really think about what tomorrow would bring, or how it may be different than today or yesterday were.

He just lived a normal life … with everyday routines, not ever taking time to stop, think, be grateful or relish in the moment.

Taking time to see what was really all around him, didn’t really suit his nature. That just wasn’t who he was, nor did he find it necessary to do that sort of thing. But, the day of his accident, everything in his life changed in one brief moment.

As he was being air-lifted to another hospital,  everyone that heard of his tragedy sent him prayers, positive light and positive energy and love. Although the surgeons tried their very best to reattach his arm, unfortunately, he was told after surgery, that they were unsuccessful in saving and reattaching his arm.

Fully in The Present The very next day,  his relatives and loved ones came to visit him at the hospital. They all came, despite being sad and scared for him about what had happened, knowing all that he would now have to face.

As they came in the room, sad faces and tears in their eyes as they saw what had happened,  but he looked at them and said “Why all the long faces? Don’t cry or feel bad, man, I’m Alive! I am here, right now, to see all of you and I can’t wait for tomorrow! I could have died from this accident, but there was someone looking out for me, and I’m here, able to talk, walk and breathe! I see how quickly things can change in an instant, but you can bet I’ll beat the odds with this, and from now on … I’ll be waking up everyday and I’ll be grateful that I have been given another beautiful day to be here with all of my friends and family. I am alive and I am so thankful that this is the minor price I had to pay to Wake Up and see my whole life through a different light.

“I have so many things to do and say that I have let slip by without notice … and now it is time to live, really live.! I have truly been given a second chance and I intend to take full advantage of it!”

Now, this man could have been sad, disappointed, lost, discouraged and miserable, but instead … he has been awakened! His awakening, though, did not just affect him, but everyone around him. His new energy, his new love for life and his gratitude for being alive and being able to celebrate yet another day, has touched all that have been in contact with him.

So, his loss was actually a gain … in more ways than he or anyone around him could have ever imagined! Life has thrown him a curve ball, but he has figured out that there is more than one way to catch and receive the curve ball he was thrown!

I chose to share this very touching story with you, as just another reminder that everyday, more and more people are Awakening to what life is really about. It’s about loving yourself and realizing that there is so much more to this dimension than our physical beings.

Seeing the true beauty of everyday that you get to wake up and take your first breath.

Taking a moment to be grateful for all that you have in your life, and not just the physical things, but the things that you have within you to give and enjoy.

The love that you have to give freely and openly, that no amount of money could ever buy.

Realizing that you can share your light, love and energy with everyone that you come in contact with.

We are all Awakening together, one at a time,  to something so much bigger and better than we could have ever imagined!

Share your love and light even when it feels like it doesn’t matter, because there is someone out there that your energy will touch, and that person may be awakened to something they have never known existed!

And may it continue on and on, until everyone has found peace within themselves, their neighbor, and their enemies.

Love will grow … and the ‘Light’ will shine brighter than it ever has.

MUCH love! ❤

Suffering In Silence …

Bryan Hall's "Awakening Revolution"

“We can cry out to “the other” for assistance as sovereign integrals of the One Creator/God (being “family” and all) or, in hearing such a cry for help, we can elect to participate in “the other’s” aegis as infinitely powerful, eternal, and immortal creator beings!” – Stunned at Sunset, ‘On The Promise You Thought You Understood

Many times – more often than not – Lightworkers ‘suffer in silence’, doing all of the good works we do, anchoring and holding the Light, literally CHANGING the destiny of mankind, yet never (or hardly ever) complaining of ‘not having enough’, and all of this without any expectation of receiving anything in return.

Yet, what we bring to the world is worth ‘all the king’s gold’, so to speak, and, while we are (mostly) not concerned in the least with any ‘reward’ (monetarily speaking), the abundance we promote is equally well-deserved. We…
